Blizzard Disables Unique Ichorous Salvation Rogue Gloves in Diablo IV

A special Unique for Rogues in Diablo IV, the Ichorous Salvation gloves, have been disabled. In a report from PC Gamer, this was revealed through a video on Chinese social media platform Bilibili with users part of Sanctuary Diablo IV Discord server sharing their own damage stats with the gloves equipped.

As a response to this item effectively being able to scale damage to such a staggering degree, Blizzard Entertainment has since disabled the effects of the Ichorous Salvation Rogue Unique in Diablo IV. There is no information if the item will be adjusted or reactivated at any point in the future.

In the report from PC Gamer, it was pointed out that this specific item was a “placeholder item.” In addition to that, Blizzard Entertainment has not removed this Unique from the items of players.

The Ichorous Salvation gloves appeared in Diablo IV Season 8, which saw the introduction of Belial, the Lord of Lies, as a boss. Season 8 also ushered in revamped bosses and some neat new Seasonal powers, which players can obtain from taking down world bosses and other formidable foes.
