June is a busy month for the games industry, and it's about to get busier. Just mere days before the Electronic Entertainment Expo opens its digital doors, games industry veteran Geoff Keighley will be hosting the Summer Game Fest, with an impressive line up of game developers and publishers taking part.
For MMO fans, there are a few names in the lineup that stick out, with Blizzard, Square Enix and New World developer Amazon Game Studios taking part, along with many major names in the industry. Summer Game Fest will kick off on June 10th with a live showcase featuring over 30 developers and publishers, including MiHoYo, Square Enix, Wizards of the Coast and more.

Summer Game Fest will also include a performance by the band Weezer, as well as a Day of the Devs indie showcase. A sizzle reel gives a glimpse into some of the titles and studios we could see, with games like Final Fantasy XIV, Valheim and Overwatch included in the reel.
While it doesn't seem that Summer Game Fest is affiliated with E3 itself, it does kick off what is going to be a busy and wild month in the games industry, with E3 running its online-only event from June 12th through the 15th, Ubisoft's Forward Event taking place on June 12th, while EA Play is happening June 22nd.
