Blade & Soul NEO is a “modern reinterpretation” of Blade & Soul’s fantasy universe, featuring elements of the Wuxia-themed, mythology-inspired world, along with action fantasy combat, this time with a complete graphical overhaul of the original MMORPG inUnreal Engine 4, new customized content, improved character customization, and much more.
NC America shared details about what will set this game apart, both from the classic and others out there.Features include completely remastered graphics and animations. This means better lighting, improved animations, greater environmental detail, and more made possible by Unreal Engine 4. The game is a modern take on that classic fantasy world, where you can relive your adventures and discover new ones.
Pick one of the animal lore-inspired races: Dragon, Qiilin, Phoenix, and Turtle, then choose one of seven classes. This version features infinite Windwalk. No more stamina bar, you can walk and sprint and get up in the air anytime.
The action-based combat incorporates fast-paced martial arts action, combos and counters, and this new version also offers more flexibility in party roles and builds. Combat is enhanced and customizable with Skill Books you earn as you go, letting you tailor your build even more.
Speaking of customization, the character creator also got more customizable with a new deeper series of features. Additional features include character hair, facial structures, change the eye color, body and height. Export your character templates and share them.

There are a number of different PVP modes and options available, including dungeon raids, field combat, faction combat and even six V6 battlegrounds. The new skill books and customizable builds also play a role here. Competitive players will have stuff to keep them busy.
Pre-registration has opened, and the list of pre-registration rewards include the Moonlight Costume cosmetic and a Mystery Weapon Box x2. The game will be free to play when it releases on PC in North America and Europe, but there are pre-order packages available that can get you new outfits, weapon skins, special emotes, and additional perks. NCSoft is even planning a Blade & Soul NEO x Blade & Soul crossover event that will give Blade & Soul players even more rewards for pre-registeing for NEO.
Blade & Soul NEO will launch on PC via the PURPLE platform.
