Blade & Soul is getting in on the Halloween events with its own Ghoul event, which hits the MMORPG today. The event, which runs from October 16 through November 13, gives players a chance to take out "nightmarish enemies for some devilishly good rewards."
The new event, which we previously detailed last week, brings the Candycloud Park to Blade & Soul. Players can earn rewards by completing the daily quest, loging in and from Hallowween Boxes, which are also available by taking part in daily quests which can be found here.
Additionally, the patch releasing with the Ghoul Event also includes some major crafting additions. As far as crafting is concerned, the patch reduces the number of different materials needed to simplify the process for crafters, as some new recipes for crafters to try their hand at creating.
For those who are interested in PvP, the new Dragonfang weapon tier has been added to Blade & Soul. Players can work towards earning the materials needed to obtain these new tiers by completing PvP quests to obtain Dragonfang Orbs, which will replace the Vengeance Orb.
PvP will be on full display this weekend as the Blade & Soul World Championships are taking place in Seoul, Korea. On October 20. teams from Korea, China, Thailand, Japan, Russia, Vietnam, North American and Europe will vie for the championship in this Semi-final round. Teams who move on will take part in the Finals on October 26 to battle for the championship.
You can check out the stream schedule on the official Blade & Soul page for all the details. If you're in North America, the tournament starts at 7pm PT/10pm ET on Saturday, October 19 on the official English broadcast on Twitch.
