Portalarium has announced that it has inked a deal with Black Sun Game Publishing to bring Shroud of the Avatar to Russia and other CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. According to Richard Garriott, Black Sun is an experienced team that understands its community and that it is ideally suited to the task of bringing SotA to the region.
It appears that a localization effort for Shroud started in June of 2015, perhaps as a fan project that has since borne fruit as the Black Sun team moves to a fully-fledged game publishing company.
