Black Desert’s Land Of The Morning Light expansion is part of a special exhibition in Paris, France.
The exhibition is at the Korea House, a cultural space that is been organized by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism. It is run by the Korean Sports and Olympic Committee from July 25th through August 11th. With Paris, France the host of The Summer Olympic Games this year, there is a special opportunity to promote various aspects of Korean culture. This is where Black Desert comes in.
Recognized as a globally popular and significant video game, Black Desert is supported in 12 languages worldwide with over 55 million players. The game's part focuses on the Land of the Morning Light expansion.
This is for good reason, since Pearl Abyss sent team members to real historical places to take inspiration for a historically inspired Joseon-era setting that also sprinkles in important and known Korean legends and myths. Beyond that, the exhibition highlights a number of Korean landmarks that inspired a number of locations in the expansion. Some of these locations are featured in video on big LED screens around Korea House.
With Land of the Morning Light: Seoul on the way, there will be more opportunities to showcase inspiration from Korean landscapes, points of interest, and Korean history. The follow-up expansion includes historical Hanyang (which is the old name for Seoul), taking us through the old streets, along with Gyeonghoeru, and the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
There is a special mini site for the Korea House exhibitions And if you are in paris, you can view the exhibition through August 11th.
