Pearl Abyss is celebrating Black Desert Online’s 10th anniversary and looking ahead. At the latest Calpheon Ball, they revealed new content, improvements, and more on the way.
The 29th class on Black Desert’s roster, Deadeye was revealed at the official event. Her design and kit is inspired by the American Wild West, and she comes armed with a revolver, a shotgun, and Lil’ Devil, her rocket launcher. After Black Desert’s recent addition of firearms and teases that there was something more on the way and a link to Marni, comes this reveal. Deadeye comes from the parallel Earth and crosses into Black Desert via Marni’s experiments. The new class will be available on December 24th after 4 days in Global Lab.
Continuing their efforts to improve the player experience, Pearl Abyss is also adding changes to Season servers with the December 24th update. If you thought progression was faster before, combat EXP boost will go up to 1000% and a system of simplified gear upgrades will also convert to endgame gear too. These and more improvements are on the way.
In fact, there are a number of improvements across various features announced. PvP got some love, with a new Hardcore PvP server announced, along with rebalanced Node and Conquest Wars, and a Black Dragon Mount to chase PvP glory for. Hardcore PVP server will let you have up to two hours a day to survive and earn points for yourself when facing off against other players.
Fishing and Life Skills get some tweaks and additions to make them more rewarding. In January, Black Desert Online is getting a new Dream Horse, Voltarion. This lightning themed horse is coming January 16th, along with a series of changes to horse breeding and training to smooth out the process and even make developing mounts easier. You’ll be able to do things like register wild horses using empty wagons.
Black Desert Mobile was also featured in the content preview. Awakened Dawnveil gear is coming before the new year. Deadeye is also coming to mobile on December 24th. A new Dream Horse, Aduanatt, is coming for your fast travel needs.
Atoraxxion: Vahmalkea, new party co-op content, opens December 31st. Head in up to five times a week to test your party’s strategies and face the Ancient Guardians. Nightmare: Tshira is an overhauled battleground PvPvE experience offering different zones for different combat power levels. Pearl Abyss has also included some safeguards to help prevent high CP players from overwhelming lower ones.
