As we previously wrote, the Guardian for Black Desert is set to arrive on January 22. Today we have additional information that the Awakening skills for Guardian will go live on February 5.
Details come via press release outlining the weapon carried by Guardian. Jördun is a massive polearm that burns with the holy flame of Ynix, the magic fire that has the power to slay even the gods themselves. Additionally, her Awakening skills improve her Area of Effect potential, allowing her to take on large groups of enemies at once.
Alongside this news comes news of the Dark Knight receiving a Succession update which should be available now. She can wield updated skills of her original main-weapon, the Kriegsmesser. By giving up the versatility of her Awakening skills, players can choose to specialize in Succession skills which give them powerful versions of their main-weapon skills. Succession is unlocked lat evel 56 by accepting a quest from your Black Spirit companion.
