Black Desert Online gets a new roadmap for September, led by the recently-announced release date of the Land of the Morning Light: Seoul expansion, a new collaboration, and Dosa Awakening.
Land Of The Morning Light: Seoul is coming September 12th.This year's expansion will follow from the original land of the morning light, drawing inspiration from both real historical Korean locations and Korean tales and legends. The new journey takes place in Hwanghae Province, new content will include 12 Collections of Tales, four new world bosses, seven Black Shrine co-op bosses, and Sovereign weapons. NPCs that you will meet during the adventure will be introduced throughout the content. Pearl Abyss looks to integrate the experience a little more.
The release schedule will vary. Four of the Black Shrine bosses will release in the Korean version, while the global version will get all seven, including the “main villain” of the expansion at launch.
One of the changes that will be most noticeable is unfinished English dubbing. Pearl Abyss made the decision to release the full expansion on September 12th, but due to the voice actors’ strike in North America, there will be subtitles with the Korean voiceover for the global launch. English dubbing will be added later when the team is able to complete that work.
A new collaboration was also announced in the roadmap, Black Desert x Berserk. This collaboration will arrive on both PC and console versions on September 5th.
Dosa Awakening is on the way. The swordsman will arrive in his transformed form, with new ways to play, skills, and more. In fact, it is listed in the September 2024 roadmap but is the only feature on there with no date just yet.
Pearl Abyss promises more details on the full Dosa Awakening update soon.
