Black Desert Online Releases Atoraxxion: Orzekea, With Special Monster Zones and New Main Story Quest

Atoraxxion: Orzekea is here in Black Desert Online. The new update adds a new main story questline centered around Atoraxxion’s fourth protagonist, Orze, along with distinct new monster zones, new biome, and a new Season.

This new chapter is significant since it is the culmination of the Atoraxxion storyline, following Vahmalkea, Sycrakea, and Yolunakea, and ties to the Mountain of Eternal Winter.

In today’s update, you can travel to Orzekea and discover how this new, last biome in the storyline, is different. The monster zones have a twist. In locations where you defeated monsters previously to get items to enter another area are now field monster zones where you subjugate monsters. You'll start encountering powerful field monsters in Orzekea and you can decide to take them on or if you really want to just do a boss run, you can skip those challenges and go right to combat with the knight, Cathawen,  before the final boss is released next week. 

Next week, on March 27th, the final boss encounter will be released but you can play through the field monster zones and rock up the experience and prepare for what's coming.

Today’s update also launches Season: Black Desert Academy, a brand new season that will run through June 12th. Create a season character to take advantage of enhanced fast progression bonuses and all the content.  Any new or returning player who reaches level 60 with a new season character will also get special rewards. At the end of the season you'll be able to graduate and transition your character to the main server, and there will be progression support as usual.

There are also a round of fixes and balance changes, as well as improvements to the recently released hardcore server, among the full list of changes.
