Black Desert Online is still working on a new dragon mount, but the latest update offers a lot for those who like to sail the Great Ocean, barter, and slay monsters in the aquatic areas of the world.
The update is live today and adds a number of quality of life improvements. Bartering gets a few helpful ones that should speed up the process. Refresh improvements include a feature that will let you input how many times you want to use the reduced refresh cooldown function, and a way to check Margoria’s Star barter information on the world map. Another function is a way to view only your own items on the barter info window and an easier way to hide completed barter nodes.
Another new feature lets you move all of your cargo into storage at once after you finish bartering and you want to return to the wharf. You can sell from storage once you do.
Level 5 trade goods (and other items that don’t stack) are now easier to sell, with the feature letting you pick the number you want to part with. To go along with this, Level 5 trade goods are getting a price boost.
Ocean monster zones are also getting some changes to upgrade drop rates and to make them more rewarding. Sea Monster Habitat - Saltwater Crocodile and Goldmont Pirate Territory both see increased item drop rates from defeating monsters within. Large Sea Monster Habitat - Lekrashan gets a +150% spawn rate when taking down Nineshark and Black Rust in monster zones. Breezy Crystal gets a price cut to help you keep your cannons stuffed with cannonballs. it goes down to 50,000 silver from 200k.
Other changes to make going out in the ocean rewarding and more compelling include Being able to explore this Margoria Sea and find monster locations more easily, including an improved compass and the ability to set waypoints on the world map.
The full update notes contain all of the improvements included here and beyond the ocean.
