Black Desert Online has added the Deboreka Ring in its latest update, obtainable through the new Trial of Erethea. This week's update also offers one season character ticket to everyone, monster changes, updates to the City of the Dead, and more improvements.

The Trial of Erethea is a new trial that works like a faster version of Erethea’s Limbo. This trial is for those level 56 and up. You’ll need Forgotten Limbo Seals, which are monster zone drops, in order to attempt the trial challenge. The seals will drop at a low probability in certain monster zones, and this is part of the journey of getting your hands on the Deboreka Ring.

The team is careful to warn about those low drop rates. Yet, once you get it you're guaranteed to at least get two of the rings from the trial. There will also be chances to get more rings from an extra chest that might spawn depending on trials you complete. Once inside, you'll have 20 minutes to complete the trial. You’ll get a Limbo’s Blessing to grant you a bonus for the trial you can challenge. Complete three to open the gate to lead you to your loot. If you die in the Trial of Erethea, there will be no death penalty.

A number of the monster zones got a few updates, including adjustments to the Tongrad Ruins for balance. The City of the Dead also got a change to make it easier for you to first take care of the Tehmelun Messengers before you can get to the monsters.

Pearl Abyss has issued a new season character ticket to everyone. If you want to join a fresh start, boosted progression season server, now's your chance. They are designed for beginners and less experienced players, but you can still join if you want another option.

The team also continues improving the player experience with a number of new features, including a new reward popup on quest completion to let you clearly see what you’ve received. Other tweaks include making customization options clearer, made the quest guide always displayed for new or under level 20 players, and more.

The full notes have details on a number of balance changes, rewards, and more.
