Black Desert Mobile has crossed 20 million installs, while the series itself has generated $1.5 billion in revenue.
The impressive stats come to us from Pearl Abyss US CEO Jeonghee Jin who discussed these figures during a talk at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2020. There are apparently 30 million players who play the Black Desert series. When you consider that the mobile version alone has 20 million, this means that the majority of players are on mobile.
According to Jin, “Black Desert is now one of the most popular MMORPGs in the Asian market.” Additionally, he confirmed that, along with Crimson Desert, four projects are confirmed from Pearl Abyss.
