Pearl Abyss laid out what’s on the way for Black Desert Mobile, including the new season, streamlined main quest, and new class, Kurenai (Kunoichi Awakening). There’s also new info on upcoming guild content, Slumberfallen Castle.
Starting October 29th, a special update will kick off the new autumn season and present a redesigned main quest that is intended to be more immersive and less grindy. The new quest will focus on the major characters, with special focus on Grand Chamberlain Jordine, and is intentionally about half as long. If you've already completed the main quest, there will be a replay feature to catch you up on the new version if you need it. Pearl Abyss is working to streamline the experience in different regions and to eventually align most content.
With the new season, the team is also introducing a new quest path for new players, from character creation to Calpheon. If you complete the season, you will reach a CP of 33,000, an increase over the summer season, and get better rewards.
On November 5th, Kurenai arrives, representing the Kunoichi Awakening. More info on the class, skills, and a showcase are still to come. We do know that she wields a main weapon Sah Chakram, and a shuriken as her secondary weapon. Her main weapon is designed for assassination and quick kills, and her new combat style will let her take on multiple enemies from a distance too.
Finally, we get an update on Slumberfallen Castle, which was originally announced at Heidel Ball (as Castle of Nightmares). Your guild will be able to participate in this content via asynchronous battles within the castle, and earn rewards in the timed challenge, based on things like damage done.
The developer commentary video covers the series of updates if you want to go really in-depth.
