Two years ago, Black Desert Mobile was released, and Pearl Abyss is marking the occasion with events, special missions, mini games, new items, and much more. Today’s update also included new regions added to East Valencia.
All of these events for the second birthday celebration for the mobile MMO involves special missions and a brand new currency to exchange for special Primal Gear Selection chests. The new currency? Birthday candles. There's also a special gift to celebrate the anniversary, which players can obtain by logging in daily for a series of rewards during the event period. Logging in will also get you a birthday candle. and if you get 35 birthday candles, then you'll be able to redeem it for the final reward.
The new collection event features of series of quests given out from the general goods vendors in every town. If you complete every one of these quests, you'll get the second anniversary collection reward and special coins for the collection too. Other events include the CalpheON Ball, where you need to help the NPCs prepare by making sure to get enough food for the party, and the 3x3 art challenge, featuring art featured at the CalpheON Ball. There’s also the return of the Hero of Karkea event. In this event, you enter Karkea and enter the arena. Keep winning fights and you’ll get rewards after every victory. Those who have already defeated Kelcas are eligible.
Today’s update also added Boss Rush World bosses through Alyaelli’s Rift, with world bosses like Enraged Red Nose, Enraged Glath, Enraged Gleth, and Enraged Muskan. Outside of the Rift, these bosses have had their HP decreased, so if you want a challenge, then you know where to go in the new update.
Black Desert Mobile will be marking the second anniversary with all of these events though December 20th-21st, with the 3x3 art puzzle event over on December 13th. For more on the birthday events, see the Black Desert Mobile event page here.
