Black Desert Mobile has a wave of updates, including the addition of Rabam Skills, balance changes, and a series of QoL improvements.
Rabam Skills have finally arrived in Black Desert Mobile after yesterday’s update. This means that mobile players can use these customizable skills to unleash high damage and to compensate for their class’ weaknesses. As you level the skills, you can customize them via the branches you take, and reduce their cooldowns.
The team lays out the skills in an overview of what they’ve been working on and mention the challenges of bringing new skills to mobile. Primarily, adding additional skill slots within a mobile interface. They've decided to increase skill slots to 10 but that update will come in a future patch.
The Black Shrine is ditching its time limits after the team received lots of feedback that Calamity 6 and 7 were just too hard and some were giving up. Those with the fastest clear times each week will earn rewards through a new time attack system.
In Black Sun and Night of Vengeful Souls, the team is overhauling the point system To improve the experience and encourage more PvP. Hit 50,000 points during a hunt and you can store your score and even get rewards for it even if you die later. Now, if you defeat a player whose score is close to yours, you’ll get a bigger share if you defeat them and a lower amount if the gap is big. These are just some of the changes coming, but they should help encourage more even PvP and less intentional feeding of alts.
There are other changes, including family name change option, resetting dormant family names, more opportunities to access Eilton Defense, and battlefield leave penalties.
