Black Desert Console has a new update, adding the Elvia Calpheon, with new zones, new guild missions, events, and more. There are even campaigns for new and returning players.

The Elvia Calpheon has arrived, with several zones to explore, monsters to slay, and the addition of the new Godr-Ayed weapon type and associated resources. The new content features Calpheon that have been corrupted by the Elvia, and populated with Hadum-infested enemies like giants, Hexe, trolls, Saunil, and Rhotum.

Due to tears in the Rifts of Despair, the zones are presented with the “Elvia Distortion Phenomenon" in play, so there are some new mechanics and gimmicks in the included monster zones too. This will include boss spawns and the distortion all over, and if you slay monsters affected by the distortion, you could get drops like the Black Distortion Earring and acquire some helpful buffs for victories too.

Pearl Abyss continues to improve and update the Great Ocean, this time making several changes to make participation easier. For those whose desire to sail the ocean had been thwarted, several sea monsters had their HP reduced, and there’s a new type of slow-moving monster that will drop Sea Monster’s Ooze, to let you get building a boat. They’ve also added weekly quests in addition to the daily quests, to open up more opportunities for rewards for those to build their boats and get sailing.

Black Desert Console has some events to enjoy too. For new and returning players, there’s a login campaign to load you up with useful goodies. There are also new guild missions from a  new event to accompany them. The Better Adventures With Guildies event runs through January 10th and offers new guild missions. Certain members can request the missions and when the guild completes them, everyone gets rewarded.
