Black Desert Console’s new update adds three Mythical horses, new horse gear, and opens the endless Season Server. Maegu Awakening also brings her deadly grace to the console version of the game.
Following other updates across the Black Desert franchise, the console version now gets the three majestic Mythical horses, Diné, Doom, and Arduanatt. You'll need to be able to get a male and female Dream Horse of the same breed, get those horses to level 30, and then get your hands on the Mythical Censer. Once you've done all of that, you can make an attempt at Mythical horse Awakening at Stonetail Ranch or Grana Stable.
If successful, Each of the three potential mythical horses are designed with different strengths. if you thrive in combat, you will want to get Doom, for additional AOE damage and the ability to clone itself to give you five additional allies (and additional targets). Travel through rocky terrain and travel through the sky? You'll want to get your hands on Arduanatt. Diné Is fast, so you can travel across the Great Desert at top speed, and you can even gallop on top of water and float down safely from high places. Or work to collect all three.
With the arrival of the new horses, comes new horse gear for both dream horses and mythical horses. Kit out your horses with new cosmetics and even earn yourself a special treasure when you have all three Mythical horses in your collection.
Maegu Awakening is also now live, bringing her graceful, fan-wielding and deadly Do combat to console. Not only does she use her fan and pierce through enemies with her melee attacks, Arrival opens an opportunity in the Black Spirit event to let you earn two boxes of Relics.
After Black Desert Online got an endless season server late last month, the console version also now gets its own endless season server. This means you can start a character and enjoy faster progression and special bonuses, season exclusive gear and events, and rewards until you are ready to graduate your characters off to the live server.
This is in line with Pearl Abyss’ ongoing efforts to make Black Desert on any platform more welcoming, since you can take all the time you need.
