Black Desert Console will get the second of the Twin Class characters, Maegu, in an update coming on Wednesday, April 5th. She joins her sister Woosa, who made it onto the console version back in December.

Maegu will bring her hard-hitting, cunning and combos to the console version, using her fox charm to disrupt enemies, and summoning her own doppelganger to serve as a clever decoy. Her Do combat style is in contrast to her sister, whose own combat style is more flowing and almost dancelike. Maegu’s strategies incorporate her fox charm and Binyeo knife in various ways she can catch enemies off guard and take opportunities to strike.

Maegu and Woosa are Black Desert’s first Twin Class, each with their own abilities and different, but related styles. They each debuted on different platforms, with the other sister gradually making her way onto the other platforms over the past couple of months.

The coming update will also open up a new Seasonal Server for Black Desert Console.  These seasonal servers open up a world of bonuses for faster progression and opportunities for growth and rewards. They’ll feature a number of bonuses and special challenges, like Hot Time buffs and additional rewards when transferring a character to the live server (graduation bonuses). This new season will add fishing benefits for the first time. There will be season server exclusive fish that you can exchange for items, and additional fishing XP bonuses.

Black Desert Console is also starting some new promotions, including a free to play period on Xbox. Maegu will arrive in the April 5th update, and from April 6-9, the game will be free to play on Xbox. There are also some discounts on content packages on both PlayStation and Xbox with promotional dates varying persystem, but featuring three packages at up to 80% off.
