The BitCraft Online team is busy preparing for Early Access, which is now coming in June. Clockwork Labs released a new list of the major changes since Alpha 3, their goals, and how they’ve responded to feedback.

They set out three major goals for the most recent updates: Address core systemic issues, improve player experience, and enhance content and customization.

The first is to make sure that any problems that sprung up during Alpha 3, particularly foundational ones, were taken care of. As for the player experience, they wanted to eliminate or reduce the pain points that they got feedback on. This also meant frustrating moments that made people quit, along with any obstacles to usability.  Finally, to enhance the content and customization options means to expand what players can do and build and how they can make it their own in this single-shard persistent world.

They've added  support for multiple world regions via partitioned servers that means the game can scale with player and world size. They've overhauled the world map, updated the core combat system, and added features like a town marketplace where you can buy and sell and post trade orders in a central system. They've also added and refined fast travel with some constraints for balance.

The full list of everything they've done is worth checking out. Not only does it cover bugs they fixed but also new content and gameplay additions (some, like Pets, made possible through their wishlist campaign) like two new biomes, new Travelers, new monsters, new animals to hunt, fully customizable key bindings, and much more.

BitCraft Online hits Early Access on June 20th
