Gaijin has announced the successful deployment of the latest War Thunder update called "Big Guns". As the name implies, a pair of military vehicles have been deployed in the form of the B29 Superfortress aircraft and the Maus super heavy tank. The update also features map improvements, graphical enhancements and more.
Players will notice a significant change in the way ground vehicles perform thanks to the addition of new terrain. For instance, tanks will move more rapidly and smoothly if on a road, but will slow and turn with more difficulty if off road, in mud, or in other environmental off road hazards.
In addition, players can look forward to:
- binocular views in ground vehicles
- driver view in ground vehicles
- driver mode control
- contrails on aircraft
- the ability to turn lights on in certain aircraft
- a new type of bomb delay
