By Poorna Shankar on December 12, 2019 | News | 0

A whole lot of game announcements and premieres debuted at The Game Awards 2019 earlier. Here are some of the biggest ones:

Final Fantasy VII Remake

A new trailer was shown off for the remake. Check it out here:

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

Shortly after Phil Spencer took the stage to reveal the Xbox Series X, he introduced Ninja Theory’s latest game. Right now, we don’t know if the game is a sequel or prequel to 2017’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Here’s the in-engine trailer:

Kotaku’s Steven Totilo was able to follow up and confirm that the game is “available exclusively on Xbox consoles and PC.”

Godfall

Developed by Gearbox, Godfall is the first confirmed PS5 game we’ve seen. It’s also confirmed for the Epic Games Store. It’s a looter-slasher ARPG with melee combat, and tons of loot. Check it out below.

Fortnite

A cross-over event with Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker is happening this Saturday at 2p ET at Risky Reels. Everyone logging in will receive a Whisper Glider. Finn, Rey, and Red Stormtrooper skins are also available.

Cyberpunk 2077

A behind the scenes video was shared showcasing the music and soundtrack behind CD Projekt RED’s upcoming game. The video shows off several artists like Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Run the Jewels, Ilan Rubin, Richard Devine, Nina Kraviz, Gazelle Twin, Tina Guo, Deadly Hunta, and Rat boy. Check it out below:

Ghosts of Tsushima

We were treated to an in-engine video of Ghosts of Tsushima, scheduled for Summer 2020. Check it out.

Magic Legends

We have an entirely separate article on this one, which you can read here. Additionally, you can sign up for the beta here. Take a look at the trailer below.

Dungeon and Dragons: Dark Alliance

Not much is known about this other than it’s coming in 2020. It could be an ARPG, but we have to sit tight.

Gears Tactics

Think X-Com crossed with Gears and that’s what Gears Tactics looks like. It’s a PC exclusive as well, coming to Game Pass, Windows Store, and Steam on April 28, 2020.

Bravely Default 2

We got a new trailer for this one, coming in 2020.

Conv/rgence, a League of Legends story

This is in development for PC and consoles.

Ruined King, a League of Legends story

Coming to consoles and PC.

New World MMO

This one is from Amazon, and in fact, we have an entire article on it which you can read right here. Releasing in May 2020, you can preorder this one here. For now, check out the trailer below.
