Season 20 of Fallout 76, The Glow of the Ghoul, is upon us. Launching on March 18th, this highly anticipated update brings players into uncharted Fallout territory allowing players to become a ghoul for the first time.

Bethesda has dropped a new video diving into what’s coming, so if you want a quick overview to whet your appetite, that’s the place to start.

What's all the hubbub about season 20? Obviously, the ability to become a ghoul. We previously covered some of the benefits that come with making the dangerous transition and this long-awaited feature brings its own perks—literally. Players who embrace ghoulification will get unique benefits such as no longer being harmed by radiation. In fact, radiation will heal you over time! Access to new perk cards will also entice you to make the change, letting you take advantage of your new irradiated state in ways that haven’t been possible before, including the ability to enhance melee damage when you become feral.

Ahead of the launch, Bethesda plans to host a community Q&A on March 14th, giving players a chance to ask burning questions about the update on their official Discord ahead of time.

On top of that, the latest Fallout 76 roadmap has been posted on Bethesda’s social media, detailing all the community events planned for this season. If you’re looking to get involved, that’s where you’ll find everything from special in-game events to broader community activities.
