Bethesda & Behaviour Interactive Settle Westworld Mobile Game Kerfuffle
Bethesda and Behaviour Interactive have announced that an amicable resolution has been reached in the lawsuit between the two. The suit was filed in June 2018 regarding alleged similarities between Bethesda's Fallout Shelter game and Behaviour's Westworld game. Behaviour had previously worked on Fallout Shelter and Bethesda alleged that some of that code was used in the Westworld mobile game developed by Behaviour at a later date for Warner Bros. Interactive.
The Behaviour statement simply said:
ROCKVILLE, Md. (Jan. 3, 2019) -- Bethesda Softworks and Behaviour Interactive jointly announced today that the parties have amicably resolved the lawsuit Bethesda brought against Behaviour and others related to the Fallout® Shelter and Westworld mobile games.
No further explanation was offered.
