I’m going to start out this week’s update with some information on the team:
We'd like to congratulate Anthony Castoro, our former lead systems designer, on his new role at another company. We don't want to spill the beans, but suffice to say that he's moving up in the world! Best of luck at your new job, Sunsword!
For the remainder of the project, the lead designer duties will be taken over by Cinco Barnes, our former lead worldbuilder; congrats, Cinco!
While we are sad to see Anthony go, we have made the additional adjustments on our team, including recently hiring more scripters and worldbuilders. This turn of events shouldn’t have a significant impact on the game or its schedule.
As for Beta 1, things are still going well for us. Earlier this week we added a few more people. I expect to add some more next week and that will probably cap it for Beta 1. We’re generally adding more here and there because our servers can handle it (yay!) but we don’t want to flood the game yet because it is easier to get concentrated feedback from a smaller focus group in this stage.
