Behaviour Celebrates 2 Years & 4M Copies Sold by Sending in the Clown

Dead By Daylight is celebrating a pair of major milestones in a big way. The game has officially entered the "terrible 2s" with over 4M players taking part since launch. In order to truly tell the community how much it is loved, Behaviour has released a new update called Curtain Call that literally "sends in the clown" as a new killer alongside a new survivor a new map and more.

The Clown is the star of Curtain Call who "has long used his nomadic lifestyle as a cover for his twisted pastimes". He uses something called The Afterpiece Tonic to subdue unwilling victims.

Kate Denson is the new Survivor. She is a musician that has been "one of spreading joy and warmth to those around her". To say that she's awakened to a nightmare is to understate things greatly.

The DLC is $7 through Steam. It will be released for PlayStation 4 and XBox One at a later date.

All players will also find other improvements to the game including:

• a new economy and a new store
• two new tutorial levels have been added
