If you’re in for a bit of player-versus-player chaos, Battle Crush is around the corner. The free-to-play NCSoft game, which touts itself as simultaneously a Battle Royale, MOBA and brawler, has opened its pre-registration, including in-game bonuses for signing up, and more for Wishlisting on the Steam page.
The official release date is slated as June 27th, so pre-registration will likely end around then, too. This marks a confident full launch as, per the website, Battle Crush has seen a few beta tests and a lot of adjustments as a result.
Battle Crush boasts all the basic wants of a modern multiplayer game, being free-to-play, cross-platform progression and cross-play, with solo and team “Battle Royale” and “Brawl” modes, as well as 1-vs-1 matches.
It’s unclear what monetization looks like right now. The site shows that it’ll be on the Nintendo Switch, Steam, and mobile devices, but it’s unclear how pre-registration and its rewards works between those consoles—we only hope it’d just include a link of some kind for reward registration.
This is all happening in step with the launch of the official trailer at Summer Game Fest yesterday, which includes a nifty animated sequence into a bit of light gameplay.
