Baldur’s Gate 3 is gearing up for its final major update as Larian winds down more than 6 years of development. Patch 8 will bring several new features to the game, including bug fixes, new content, and a few choice additions for Xbox gamers.
Set to launch on Tuesday, April 15th, Patch 8 marks a big milestone in the game’s post-launch development, as it has been stated that this will mark the end of the major patches to the game. Expected to bring a wave of new content, balance tweaks, and new subclasses, it looks like Larian has a lot in store.
To mark the occasion, Larian will host a special livestream on Twitch, diving deep into what Patch 8 has coming. The stream will be hosted by Aoife Wilson and will feature Senior Systems Designer Ross Stephens, who will give insight into the design philosophy behind the new subclass additions and other core systems changes, as per an announcement via their Discord.
