Larian Studios has revealed a plethora of content is headed to Baldur’s Gate 3, including mods, a mode to make playing with friends a bit easier, and some quality-of-life changes.
One highlighted feature is the Dynamic Split Screen mode coming with the update, which is set to release on September 7th. The mode allows friends to use split screens that will merge into one as they get closer to each other. The feature will be available in co-op mode, where we can use the HUD in or out of combat to access the feature when we need it most.
There are also Honour Mode improvements coming, which bring a few extra Legendary Actions to more creatures. This includes the bulette, Malus Thorm, githyanki Ch'r'ai Tska'an, Ch'r'ai Har'rak, and Ptaris. For anyone with arachnophobia, steer clear of Dror Ragzlin, as they are now able to call upon the arachnid community from a nearby pit to help take you down for good.
For anyone who wants to be the villain instead of the hero, there will also be more evil endings added to Baldur’s Gate 3 to really give that explosive and traumatic ending evildoers have been hoping for. Several other updates are being made to existing features and a few more being added, but Larian is spilling all of the tea as of yet since the update is still a ways away.
