Larian finally released Patch #7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 earlier this month with one of the marquee features of the update being the official introduction of the first iteration of official mod tool support for the game. Shortly after that, Larian announced that over one million mods were installed just 24 hours after the patch dropped.
Larian has previously stated that the tools coming in Patch #7 would be an incomplete version and that the studio would continue to build on the support over the remaining patch updates planned for the game.
Well, it turns out there’s already more for modders to work with. One modder has uncovered the ability to use the provided modding tools to build out their own levels and make changes to the game’s already available environments. Players can unlock this power for their own modding needs by downloading the BG3 Toolkit Unlocked mod on Nexus Mods.
The shipped functionality of the toolkit allows players to modify BG3 with new weapons, classes, spells, dice skins, and more. Players can now also download, install, and manage mods from right from within the game with its brand new mod manager.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch #7 is available now.
