Trion Worlds has published the November state of the game letter with a large nod to the Devilian community for its well-heard request for PvP in non-Devilian form. According to the letter, Bluehole Ginno and Trion heard the community and they will be bringing this form of PvP into this weekend's closed beta event.
PvP will be happening in several different ways:
- Battleground Mode: 20v20, 6v6, 3v3 that allows players to use their full ability sets from PvE but in base class form. "It's the full vision of PvP in Devilian that you've been asking for."
- Devilian War: Open world PvP based challenge for GvG dominance of certain hunting grounds. Guilds vie for control of Nala and battle for control of an entire region. The guild with the highest score at the end of each week opens new rewards within the ground they bled for and will have the guild name displayed on the map as the Champion of the Field
New gear and other rewards will also be added at the PvP vendors.
"If you've been waiting for an ARPG that does PvP right, Devilian is that game."
