Automatic housing demolition has been temporarily suspended in Final Fantasy XIV, with the team citing Coronavirus, aka COVID-19.

The suspension began on March 26, with no end date provided. This suspension extends to all worlds in FFXIV. Here are some other details provided in the post,

“If your estate or land is currently being prepared for auto-demolition, you can cancel this status by entering your estate or constructing an estate on your land. When the Auto-Demolition Counter resumes it will resume from the time remaining as of the temporary suspension. (Excludes estates/lands where the demolition process has been canceled.)”

In other news, the seasonal Hatching-tide event is beginning today, with Chapter 1 running through Sunday, April 5. Chapter 2 will run from April 5 through April 13. You can participate by grabbing the “the Eggth Umbral Calamity” quest in Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre.
