Attend the Wedding of Aragorn and Arwen in LOTRO

How would you like to attend a wedding? Well, you can do just that in Lord of the Rings Online as you celebrate the wedding of Aragon and Arwen.

The invitation graciously asks for your presence to take part in this special day,

“Greetings to thee, friend of Free Folk!

Aragorn II Elessar, King of Gondor and Arnor Son of Arathorn and Gilraen and Arwen Undomiel Daughter of Elrond and Celebrian

Ask the honour of thy company at their most joyous wedding, and the union of Elves and Men at the Citadel of Minas Tirith on Midsummer’s Day this year 3109 of the Third Age.”

So there you have it. If you’re interested, be sure to head over to the citadel in Minas Tirith at the appointed time. What’s interesting here is that, as you can see above, the invitation is in both English and Elven, with the team’s Tolkien scholar having provided the translation.

Additionally, LOTRO players of all character levels can experience the Midsummer festival event in Minas Tirith on any server beginning June 30.  Throughout the month of July, they can earn rewards and cosmetics by participating in festival activities, quests and enjoy wedding themed Hobbit gifts.
