Grapeshot Games has planned to release their first patch of the year for Atlas on January 12th, though the details on the patch have been scant except for a photo provided in the announcement tweet teasing rideable dolphins.
The tweet from the official ATLAS account wants players to know that there is plenty of new content and fixes on the way in 2021, but no details were provided, nor any additional information on what the next patch, planned for January 12th, will provide.

What the tweet did tease is the possibility that a rideable dolphin, and a rather large one at that, will be available. Atlas released a holiday content patch in December, along with several hotfixes as they work their way out of Early Access, though the game initially had planned to only be in Early Access for 2 years, the game is heading into its third year of development in Early Access.
