Astellia has been in headstart access mode for about seven days now, and while officially slated to launch today, the team has opted to extend headstart access by one day, now launching officially on September 28th.

Last week the new MMORPG hit headstart access for those who pre-ordered the game, but was met with some issues which prevented some players from fully logging in and enjoying their early access. The Astellia team wants to ensure all players who paid for headstart access were fully able to enjoy the experience, so they are delaying the full launch by a day to ensure this. This also means players can still pre-order to jump into Astellia today if they choose to do so.

Last Friday Astellia went into Headstart and will be launching on September 28th at 5:00pm PDT (2:00 CEST). Originally planned to end on the 27th of September, we opted to extend it by one day to make sure any players who had any issues are able to fully enjoy their headstart.

Additionally, the Astellia team has started to showcase some of the events coming to the MMORPG, though not individual event information was detailed. From October through December, players can take part in seasonal events with new quests, rewards, costumes and more. With October fast approaching, players should be on the lookout for more information regarding these events in the coming days and weeks.

This week we started our Astellia review, which you can find our review in progress live here. While only scratching the surface of what Astellia has to offer, Steven has enjoyed his time in the game world thus far. Stay tuned as we continue to move through our review in the coming weeks.

Full disclosure: Astellia is handled by Team Critical Hit, a games PR company co-founded by former MMORPG Managing Editor Bill Murphy.
