Twitter user Susan, "OneOddGamerGirl", has written a series of posts discussing how she is using Assassin's Creed Odyssey as therapy after suffering from a stroke not long ago. "I've been prescribed Assassin's Creed Odyssey by a doctor with a real live medical degree and I feel like I'm living my best life now," she wrote.

Susan wrote that there are "very specific things" she struggles with due to her stroke including being easily overwhelmed by tasks and obligations, her in ability to prioritize things, and several others. She indicates that playing Odyssey allows her to "practice all of these things without any real consequences". She hones the skills she struggles with in dialogs, combat and though the "endless stream of quests you get if you stay in one area".  All this, she says, is a "life simulator for therapy and cognitive rehabilitation".

Have you ever used games for "therapy"?  Leave us your thoughts in the comments!
