Aspyr is releasing an updated and enhanced version of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter in August.
The 2002 classic has been overhauled and improved for modern platforms with upgraded visuals, improvements all around to environments, textures, all new lighting effects and improvements, and even a new flashlight to help you get around in the dark better.
In the game, which is set before Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, you play as Jango Fett, renowned Mandalorian bounty hunter (and the eventual source of the Republic Clone troopers). In the campaign, you must find and capture a Dark Jedi. You'll have to fight your way through the galaxy, using your blasters and other weapons to track down the Jedi target.
Explore the underbelly of the galaxy, searching for your bounty. The classic action-adventure, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter features modern improvements and enhancements to make the third person game more immersive and to bring it to a new audience in 2024. After you complete the campaign and play through the story, you’ll unlock a Boba Fett skin that you can use to play through the game all over again. This guaranteed unlock is based on an easter egg from the original release.
The game will release August 1st on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, as Embracer Group-owned Aspyr is covering a lot of bases. Pre-orders are open now at a 10% discount through launch.
