Ashes of Creation's Latest Update Adds Naval System, 100v100 Node Siege PvP and More

The latest 0.7.0 update to Ashes of Creation’s ongoing Alpha 2 phase brings a ship system that lets players battle and the more widespread launch of the 100-versus-100 PvP Node Siege combat, on top of the hotly anticipated Rogue Archetype.

For players looking for a sneakier and quicker way to take down their enemies, the Rogue Archetype offers invisibility, burst damage, mobility, and a range of tricks and resources to more quickly take down enemies.

This Ashes of Creation update expands the sea into a playable lawless tropics zone—and lets players get ships to navigate it. The Turquoise Sea itself has eight new pocket dungeons, resources, and a Trading Post; players can pick up their ships at the Harbor Buildings and use Potion Launchers to get in on the action.

Also, a new large-scale 100v100 PvP action has fully launched with the Node Siege system. Players can declare a Node Siege, triggering a queue for the battle to start and allowing teams to gather others and their resources before it begins. Plus, a Relic System has been added, with a chance that certain mobs and bosses drop a Relic that can be brought to a Node, providing buffs for that Zone of Influence or the Node itself.

The update is live now, with full patch notes available on the Ashes of Creation forum, including details about more changes coming to the game.
