A recent interview with Ashes of Creation’s Creative Director, Steven Sharif, talks servers, housing, and more.

The interview was conducted by YouTube channel Paradox Gaming Network. The full interview is more than an hour in length, but fortunately, we have timestamps if you’re interested in only specific topics. Amongst the topics discussed was servers.

Steven confirms that Europe will receive its own servers for Alpha One, which will be housed in Germany. Steven also confirms the NA plan for Prime Time Events, and that there will be multiple Prime Time windows for NA. He wants Prime Time descriptions next to the server names to make it easier for players to participate in such events.

A larger discussion on housing also ensued, with Steven confirming his passion for a solid housing system. He wants players to enjoy their time with housing, but is also complementary to economic and crafting systems. Regarding in-node housing, he confirmed there’s no cap. For example, player-originated sales are determined by supply and demand, with no ceiling on how high that demand can be.
