Tomorrow, Ashes of Creation will get its third Alpha Two weekend. After the first two weekend tests, the test pool widens for the first time for owners of the First Wave bundle.
Ashes of Creation closed the door on their years-old preorder packs more than a year ago, and many were speculating on what that meant about when the alpha would happen. At the time, they clarified that this was not a signal that Alpha 2 was coming soon, but nor did they say what would replace this for their crowdfunding purposes.
Just a couple of months ago, back in August, Intrepid released a new Alpha Two roadmap and new purchasable bundles with a variety of benefits. The main one being access to the alpha on specific dates following the official start.
Bundle owners get access to Alpha Two on specific dates and access to all subsequent tests, including the beta phases, a month of subscription time, and $15 in in-game market credit. First wave gets in tomorrow, and if you're joining the test, you can roll a character on any server Intrepid has created two new servers, one in each region, if you want a completely clean start with everyone else getting in tomorrow. They announced these fresh start realms by updating the alpha prep guide. They are Castus for US Central and Aeterna for EU West.
Second wave will get in December 20th, the same date that the team plans to open up five day a week testing. The Third wave will gain access next year on May 1st, with 24/7 service.
