Tarisland’s second closed beta has come to a close, and the devs are sharing some beta stats, along with a look towards what’s next.
In a statement shared to the game's Discord, they thanked the community for their participation, patience, and feedback during the tests. There have been a few points of criticism that have come up, at times, over perceived pay to win elements, and response to even having a cash shop open in the beta. To be fair, they announced that this would be the case during the test in beta announcements, but some were caught off guard by not seeing the notice in advance.
Still, with the test coming to a close, they said “We've been listening carefully to your opinions and actively communicating with our development team to summarize your thoughts and make further optimizations and adjustments. We'll organize the relevant plans and share them with you in the future”.

That's it for the time being on testing, but there are some fun stats revealed about how everyone spent their time. On average, 1,200 bosses were killed per day during this beta test, for a total of 17,510 kills. That’s the success story to lead off with. On the other end, there will also about 65 average player deaths per minute during the beta test, for a total of nearly 1.39 million. For another bright note, the total playtime throughout the beta was over 1.2 million hours, so the team should have plenty of data to use to continue working on the game.
During all those hours, the top three most popular classes were Ranger, Phantom Necro, and Shadow Swordsman. All the way at the bottom of the list were warriors. As for professions, forging took the top spot, followed by alchemy and artisan. People also spent $7,946 hours fishing. and the creature killed the most times is the unfortunate Fallen Harpy, which fell 827,777 times.
