Google continues its release announcements for Stadia in this Day 2 lineup. Here’s what’s in store.
As we announced yesterday, Humankind is releasing in a beta demo today. The beta will see you starting at the dawn of the Ancient Era, having just founded their first city. You’ll be able to explore, claim additional territory, research technologies, fight or befriend neighbors, and earn Fame. You can choose from 10 different cultures. Each culture will have its own special trait, emblematic building, and units, with a focus on replayability. Your beta will conclude at the beginning of the Classical Era, or when you reach Turn 100.
Additionally, ARK Survival Evolved has been announced for release onto Stadia sometime in 2021, and will be claimable on Stadia Pro. It should be noted, we don’t have an exact date for this one, so stay tuned.
Finally, Orcs Must Die! will see an expansion called Drastic Steps available on November 6. You’ll be able to play five new scenarios including a new war scenario. It will also include new weapons, traps, skins, and a new Endless Map. The expansion will be priced at $9.99 USD or €9.99 in the Stadia store starting November 6.
