Ark: Survival Ascended has launched its premium mods to consoles, making it the first game to feature professionally created mods being sold to players, according to Studio Wildcard.
The video posted by the developers at Studio Wildcard and Overwolf showcases all of the different maps that have been introduced to the cross-platform play, giving us a first-person view of everything to expect from these Premium Mods.
The launch brings several of the Premium Mods to Xbox Series X|S, including the Survive the Night game mode, which blends hectic survival with shooting massive zombified dinosaurs in an attempt to survive another day. A mod map called Svartalfheim Premium has also been added. It has no flyers and contains Dwarven Warrior foes to take down alongside an Alpha Dinosaur and more.
The Gaia: Potions Plus mod brings potions to curate via alchemy, all of which have different interesting effects. Whether you want to spawn a black hole that sucks in anything in its path or a potion that allows you to hop over a massive crevice with ease, there are over 40 different consumables to create.
More so, there are now floating island bases to craft, each with a theme that matches the different environments throughout the map. These islands come in varying sizes and multiple Biomes, but there will be more coming soon inspired by the official maps within Ark: Survival Ascended.
In other Ark: Survival Ascended news, the title recently hit game pass with two new expansion updates and much more.
