It looks like Ark 2 will be exclusive to Xbox consoles and PC, with the PlayStation versions a big TBD at this point.
This was confirmed as such by Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg who tweeted,
“We are excited to be working with the Studios Wildcard team on bringing ARK II staring Vin Diesel exclusively to Xbox Series X|S consoles.”
The sequel will feature Vin Diesel as Santiago, a leader of sorts. It turns out, however, that he’s not just starring in the game, but also helping produce it. According to PC Gamer, Vin Diesel is actually working at Studio Wildcard as a “President of Creative Convergence.”
Yeah, we have no idea what that title means either. But apparently, Vin Diesel has played quite a lot of Ark, amassing “thousands of hours” in the game. Studio Wildcard stated,
“He understands the game intimately and is providing direct feedback to the development process."
Alright then. We have no release date yet for Ark 2.
