World of Warcraft has been getting lots of attention for Dragonflight since the new expansion has been out for about 6 weeks now, but for those who have been having fun in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, the next content phase is beginning this month.

Blizzard has posted what to expect in the next phase of the content updates in Wrath Classic, including dungeon and raid emblem changes coming  January 17th. There will be a new emblem type, the Emblem of Conquest that you can get from bosses in Ulduar and the Proof of Demise Heroic Dungeon daily quests. This means goodbye to Emblems of Heroism from Heroic dungeon bosses, You can exchange them at a money changer.

With the introduction of a new emblem, that means it’s time for Emblem of Conquest vendors. They’ll be ready to trade with you for gear pieces, raid set items, and even Deadly Gladiator PVP sets.

Also coming in this next phase is a new Arena season, Season 6. Participate and take your shot at earning yourself the shiny new title of “Furious Gladiator” and the Furious Gladiator’s Frost Wyrm mount. Gear from previous Arena seasons through season 5 will be available at Arena and Honor vendors at adjusted cost once Season 6 begins.

Even more daily quest content is on the way with the Argent Tournament. The tournament is held by the Argent Crusade, after the Scourge threat has been beaten back. All 10 faction capitals will be represented, looking to find champions from Horde and Alliance members to prepare for the battle against the Lich King. You can prepare by visiting the daily quest hub in Icecrown to begin the journey there.

On January 19th, the Ulduar raid unlocks at 3 PM PST. If it has been a while since you took on Ulduar, the official description may refresh you. “Beyond Ulduar's gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the Titan's mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the Titans could not, would not destroy, an evil they merely... contained.”

This level 80 dungeon in the Storm Peaks in Northrend will soon be ready for entry once again.
