Are. You. Ready? Path of Fire Launches Today!

For fans of Guild Wars 2, this is a big day with the launch of the Path of Fire expansion mere hours away. If all goes according to plan, Path of Fire should be ready to go at 9:00 am Pacific / 12:00 pm Eastern -- right about when a lot of you will be at work. Luckily, it'll be waiting for you when you get home and you'll have the entire weekend to hole up and play!

Path of Fire is the second expansion to Guild Wars 2. Balthazar has gone off the deep end and it's up to Tyria's heroes to bring him to heel. Part of that means returning to the Crystal Desert and Elona to wage war.

Players will find a lot of new features including:

• specialized mounts - Raptor, Skimmer, Springer, and Jackal
• elite specializations, one for each profession and that bring whole new levels of customization and battle options to bear
• rewards, bounties and a new guild hall
