ArcheAge: Unchained will be the latest game to open another Fresh Start server on February 9th. This follows what the team is calling a successful previous Fresh Start, but with some changes and improvements directly reflecting community feedback.
The Fresh Start server will be open for three months, followed by a one-month period where you can transfer your characters to a live server for free and get some graduation rewards. They'll open on February 9th with one server for EU and one in North America. Land Rush will open 2 days later on February 11th.
Progression boosts will return, with double to triple buffs for XP gain, and an array of other buffs to Conflict, Siege, War, Quest, and Honor Points, along with boosted Vocation badges. The Malamute pet promotion is even back for those who subscribe to the Kakao Games newsletter before the server opens. Yet, there are some changes to be aware of that will affect the experience, mostly boosting things further to get you geared up and leveled up even faster.
This new Fresh Start server will feature loot drop rates up from 200% to 300%, and boosting will now also apply to Disciple gear instead of just Hiram gear. Disciple gear will also now be included in the double weekly quest event. These changes are designed to make things even easier to get geared up and leveled up to take on all of the content.
Once again, on these servers nearly all content will open excluding Farmhand, so you won't have to wait to progress past a gate. With the additional boosts this time around, it makes sense to let everyone simply have at it this time. Whether or not to gate content to allow some time to catch up has been something that the team has gone back and forth on before, but expect things to be open this time.
There will also be a number of events once things get started.
