ArcheAge Unchained has brought down its PTS servers on Sunday in order to prep for launch.
Announced on a forum post, the reasoning provided was that the PTS will be converted to an internal test environment for purposes of testing data and feedback from the past several weeks.
“This is to ensure we don't encounter issues like labor regeneration stalling, loyalty tokens and day one crates being granted, and other similar issues that were a result of using the shared Legacy/PTS environment.”
Additionally, the team reminds us that the ArcheAge Unchained Founder’s Packs will be discontinued on October 15 at 10am PST. In case you missed it, check out our review in progress here.
[Update] It appears the character creation is now open on the NA servers as per the official Twitter account:
Hey everyone, The NA servers are open for character creation now at 11AM PDT, Oct. 14 for ArcheAge: Unchained. There is no faction lock on any of the servers. However, we're going to update you when we're putting them in place again.
