ArcheAge will get a new fresh start server starting September 15th, letting interested players start their adventures with a clean slate on equal footing. The team at Kakao Games has released details on the bonus schedules and more details on how it will all work.
This is a fresh start server, so the opportunity is here for players to start from an even point and not feel like they've fallen behind on progression or have too many obstacles to be competitive. Because of the nature of the server, there will be no content gates, and this is intended to offer faster progression with double XP, loot, honor points, and vocation points. On the weekends, those bonuses will turn into triple bonuses.
There will be special level up achievement rewards just for playing through on this server to help you along, like Manastorm crystals, armor, and weapons, and to later let you get additional items more easily. There will be special rewards upon the graduation from the Fresh Start server to an eventual move on to the live servers but they will give more info on this later. Extra rewards also apply for EHM/WHM quests so you’ll be able to lock in extra goodies when you complete them each week.
You’ll be able to get one Labor boost in the Marketplace per day. An NPC will be added selling items for honor points, including a server transfer ticket that will let you transfer your Fresh Start character to the existing servers, and the Kyrios badge or Manastorm Crystal that will let you buy items from relevant shops.
The new Fresh Start servers, one for EU and one for North America, will open on September 15th, with Landrush scheduled for October 1st. Transfers will open on October 27th, the first “graduation” of characters who’ve gotten leveled up, geared out, and are ready to move to the current servers. Transfers will close in early December and the Fresh Start server will reopen again on December 15th.
