App Annie Exec Can 'Easily See' $1B in Sales Per Year

Pokemon Go, only officially released in three countries, is a global phenomenon and has raced to the top of the charts for both iOS and Android devices. According to App Annie, an app market tracking company, it took less than a day for PG to top iOS charts and four days to hit number one on Android charts.  App Annie's Fabien Pierre-Nicolas can "easily envision" the game generating a billion -- that's BILLION -- dollars in annual sales if the game adds more features (including trading, group battles and PvP) and more stable servers.

Nintendo and Niantic Labs are, it seems, out to catch us all!
